HP Pavilion All-in-One 27″ Review

Overview

Is the HP Pavilion All-in-One worth it?

The HP Pavilion All-in-One is an ideal computer for the average user who wants to have everything on one device. You can perform all of your work-from-home tasks with ease. Then, when it’s time to relax, you can use this computer to stream movies so you can enjoy the excellent picture and superior sound.

It would even make a great model for anyone who may be less tech-savvy because it can be set up by someone without a ton of computer experience. In short, the Pavilion is a sleek and stylish model that lives up to its “all-in-one” name in every way.

has an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics that are fast enough for day-to-day browsing, document and spreadsheet editing, and even light photo editing or gaming—something that hasn’t always been true of Intel’s integrated graphics processors. The screen is just as good as the standalone 1080p budget monitors we recommend, and it has better contrast and color accuracy than the screens of the other 24-inch all-in-ones in our test group. The included 720p webcam is good enough for Zoom or Google video calls, and the system offers the ports you need for connecting USB accessories or a second monitor.

HP 27 All-In-One PC Design

At the top of the AIO PC category, you have Microsoft’s Surface Studio 2 and Apple’s iMac – both, are strong in performance and looks. On the other hand, the HP 27 AIO is equally an attractive overall package, with a svelte screen that HP calls Snowflake White, with thin bezels surrounding the top and sides of a fabric-covered speaker grille right below the display.

Display

The 27-inch touch screen provides wide viewing angles and great contrast. It is easy to make out pixels if you just look at the edges of letters, as typical of screens this size and resolution, but the visual detail is generally sharp, and brightness is great.

For colours, they aren’t top-of-the-range, but they look rich and well saturated. The 1920 x 1080 resolution paired with Intel UHD Graphics 630 provide a good combination for productivity tasks.

HP 27-D0072 Performance

an Intel Core i7-10700T processor, 16GB RAM and dual storage (512GB SSD + 1TB HDD), the HP 27 Pavilion All-in-One PC provides outstanding performance in real-world use. Out-of-the-box, the i7-10700T processor will let you execute several productivity tasks, ranging from Microsoft word, spreadsheet processing, and mid-complex media editing.

For instance, there isn’t a hint of a lag when you load two dozen Chrome tabs and play four 1080p videos simultaneously in the background. It will easily load your favorite Netflix Series and stream two podcasts in the background without batting an eye. Again, the crisp 1080p screen and the B&O makes for a great multimedia all-in-one PC for years on end.

Bottom Line

With a cheaper starting price than Apple’s iMac 27, the HP 27 Pavilion All-in-One is an excellent option for students or creative who want a great looking AIO PC. Packing a gorgeous full HD IPS display with touch, the Pavilion All-in-One is well-configured out of the box with the latest 10th-generation processors, lots of RAM and dual storage. Fortunately, the price doesn’t increase even with the more powerful build.

All said the HP 27-d0072 All-in-One PC is easily a perfect machine for students, creatives and pretty everyone else, excelling as a PC, a TV and even a Bluetooth speaker.
